Preview: "American Muse" at SUNY-Potsdam 10/28/09

The fall theater production at SUNY-Potsdam chronicles the life of Audrey Munson. She was born in Oswego county and modeled in New York City. She was the muse for the sculptures at city hall, the public library and other landmarks in the city. Audrey Munson also lived for more than 60 years at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center in Ogdensburg. "American Muse" is the story of her rise and fall. The production premiered last weekend at SUNY-Potsdam and continues Thursday, Friday and Saturday night (8 pm). Todd Moe talks with the local playwright and some of the cast members.
